Hollybush prides itself as being pioneers of a biomass heating system as well as holding Green Flag status.
We are the first school in Northern Ireland to hold the prestigious Ashden Award. This is a national award in recognition of the promotion of the eco-agenda within the school.
Our achievements have been due in no small part to the sterling commitment of the pupils and staff to relentlessly pursue every opportunity to protect the environment and promote ways in which we can all contribute to an eco-agenda.
Our eco-committee, supported by the co-ordinator and staff give excellent leadership and example to all in how we can make the world a safer, healthier place to live. Our pupils see themselves as custodians of the world.
